当店の組紐は古来より受け継がれる丸台で
一つずつ手作業でくみ上げています。
組み方や糸の配置で何千通りもの美しい柄が

A tightly tied kumihimo that won't come undone. Recently, it has become well-known to many people through the movie "Your Name." This is a traditional Japanese craft. Our kumihimo is carefully crafted by hand using a marudai, a technique passed down since ancient times. One of its charms is the ability to express thousands of beautiful patterns through different weaving methods and thread arrangements.
Kumihimo has accompanied the lives of Japanese people throughout history, from the garments of aristocrats in the imperial court to the cords of samurai armor and swords, as well as decorative items for tea ceremonies and hanging scrolls. It has evolved in response to people's needs over time. However, one common feature across all eras is that it is "tightly tied and won't come undone."
Especially, kumihimo made by hand has excellent elasticity, making it difficult to untie once it is knotted. May the wishes tied with it be firmly bound. Each piece is made with care and intention.
